Development is not a project delivered to a community; it is a capability built with one. IGN works from the premise that Igbo communities are the authors of their own progress.
Why this programme exists
Social cohesion and basic infrastructure determine how quickly every other opportunity can take root. This programme supports the civic and physical conditions that communities need to thrive.
Where the network focuses
- Community engagement and participatory decision-making
- Social cohesion within and between communities
- Infrastructure priorities identified by communities
- Diaspora links that support local initiatives
How to engage
Community associations and town unions can contact the secretariat to share priorities. All community proposals are reviewed by the secretariat before any public listing.
